Be wary of scam callers who say there is a problem with your Windows operating system. This is a SCAM to hack into your computer. They will want you to turn on your computer, so they can show you the problem--DO NOT, DO NOT do as they ask. (Microsoft will never initiate a call to you, unless there is an open ticket being resolved.) If you receive a suspicious call like this, gather as much info as possible: the person's name, company, phone number, date and time of day. Microsoft says to report it to the Internet Crimes Complaint center at http://www.ic3.gov/complaint and if you are on the National Do Not Call List, file a complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov.

The new calendar is up. Please reserve your special day by signing the chart now (before someone else does). The cost of each flower arrangement is $25. If paying by check, please make it payable to LWML and give to Roberta Scott or place it in her mailbox. After the service is over, take the flowers with you. There is a Lent soup supper sign-up sheet in the narthex just to give us an idea of who will be bringing soup to our ever popular Lenten soup suppers. Come one, come all and enjoy the Lenten season with your fellow members of Immanuel First Lutheran. A short Lent service will also be held after the soup supper. Thank you for your support.
