Upon looking through records of my baptism, I found I was baptized at your church October 5, 1958 and was pleased to find you had a picture from the 1950's at my favorite place "facebook". I live in West Virginia now and doubt I'll ever be back to California but the feelings to go and see where my parents took me as a child for baptism was overwhelming. I am grateful for this link back to my life. God Bless!

It was fun exploring your website. It is great to learn that Pastor Thai is forwarding sermons to Ft. Wayne, Indiana. At one point I had an extensive conversation with Pastor Eggold regarding Pastor Thai and his ministry. It was subsequent to that that he contacted Pastor Thai about assistance. Pastor Eggold and I have another linkage. I was in love with his wife when she and I were in 5th grade together, but she moved away and eventually married a better man. I am curious if there was any reflection or reaction to the unusual occurance this week of the beginning of Lent and the beginning of the Asian New Year on the same day. I enjoyed many of the festivities in Little Saigon yesterday and with Koreans last night. It is an interesting ministry coincidence. Blessings on your ministry.

What a joy to read through your site... you see, I knew your pastor when he was a waiter at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor in Orange. We sang around the player piano together many a late night - and a friendship grew over the miles as I went to college in Nebraska and he finished his dissertation and defense. Little did I know where dragging him to a Bible study on the pretense of taking him to dinner (ok, so I brought a can of soup along!) might lead. Next, his love of singing enticed him into joining the church choir... and God spoke his love to Mason through Word and song - and through many wonderful people at St. John's in Orange. Little did I know it would end this way. Yet God is delightful in his persistence... he never stops calling our names.
