The IFL Radio logo - very mid-century and very cute :)Welcome to IFL Radio(.com)!

IFL Radio is the official internet radio station of Immanuel First Lutheran Church in West Covina, California, playing words and music of praise and worship 24 hours a day, powered by Live 365. We stream directly from this website, Live365, and Facebook.

As of June 8, 2011 we now own the web address IFLradio.com, and it was a real shocker to find it was available as a .com, so we snapped it up immediately. Pass that short and easy name to your friends and spread the word about our station. From now on IFL Radio and IFLRadio.com will be used interchangably on the air and on this site.

Listen to IFL Radio by clicking on the arrow in the player below or on LISTEN LIVE! in the left column of every page.

Mele Kalikimaka - Merry Christmas in HawaiianChristmas: The Truth Behind the Traditions

From the Articles & Devotionals section of our church website

Every Christmas season it never fails--well-intentioned, Bible-believing Christians are confused and anxious about traditions and symbols of the holidays like Christmas trees, Santa Claus, candy canes, Advent wreaths, and even the word "Christmas" being abbreviated to "Xmas". What also never fails is that an article that I wrote for our church's site explaining the history and biblical symbolism behind all those traditions goes up and wildly explodes into orbit.

Already this year I have shared this article, which I originally wrote in 2006, with many brothers and sisters and Christ in Facebook, and they have expressed thankfulness and relief for the information. If you too are concerned or worried about Christmas traditions, I personally invite you to click on the below link and decide for yourself. Be persuaded in your own mind on this issue, and have a Merry Christmas.
