Here are the latest pictures posted by the Tanzania Mission Team from their Facebook page. The captions for each photo are directly from the online wall photo album. 

 

Above left: Bryce is a babe-magnet! Above right: Kevin Gambil, Most Ministries Leader, participating in show and tell with school children.

 

Above left: This is the lineup for exams. Some people waited as much as 6 hours to be seen. Also in the photo in the far corner is Pastor Ed Grant conducting the witnessing station. We used witness bead braclets to share the story Gods grace. The witness bracelets consisted of seven colors, each stood for an element of God's grace.
Above right: This is Debbie Okubo with a little girl during a church auction. During the offering, people would bring fruits and veggies. Right after church they were sold for various amounts of money to be added to the offering. They would chant a song to up the bidding. The money was raised to support the youth choir. Deb got to buy a "kanga" large wrap used to carry babies. (Yikes!)

Above left: This is a picture of Pastor Emmanuel of Imani Cathedral. He is our host and Assistant Bishop of East Lake Victoria Diocese (and driver). The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania is part of the East Lake Victoria Diocese, which consists of 72 Lutheran Churches in Mwanza. Above right: Here is Pastor Okubo at an eyeglass clinic station.

 

Above left: Pastor Emmanuel, Kevin Gamble "Leader," Bryce, Lance and Candace enjoying school time with teacher and children. It was neat to see the different learning styles. Above right: The children seem excited about school here. They studied standard subjects like math reading, but also personalities. This was very interesting.

Above: Candace holds a baby at an eye clinic. We bonded with the children quickly.
